Jazz St. Louis is proud to have our Jazz at the Bistro Series named "St. Louis' Best Jazz Club" by St. Louis Magazine in their "A-List" issue (on newstands now!). They had some very nice things to say about the club, and even about this blog (great job Bob!).

Be on T.V. - "I Love Jazz" filming at Jazz at the Bistro

Don Wolff will be recording his new television show, "I Love Jazz" at Jazz at the Bistro on Tuesday, June 24. If you would like to be in the audience for the taping, please come to the Bistro at 7 pm. There is no charge, and it is an opportunity to see how a show is made.

See the Jazz St. Louis All-Stars, Gene and Bob live in Concert at the Whitaker Urban Evenings

This Summer, you will have the rare opportunity to hear the fantastic Jazz St. Louis All-Stars and Jazz St. Louis staff members Gene Dobbs Bradford and Bob Bennett as they perform as a part of the Whitaker Urban Evening Series. The series takes place every Thursday Evening from June 19 through July 24 at St. Louis Place Park at Rauschenbach Avenue and St. Louis Avenue

FYI - Don Wolff is Back on the Air with "I Love Jazz!"

After a seven-month absence from St. Louis radio the popular “I Love Jazz” radio program hosted by Don Wolff is back on its new home station, CLASSIC99/KFUO-FM (99.1), where “I Love Jazz” airs on Friday evenings from 10 pm to 1 am. This broadcast is in conjunction with the television version of "I Love Jazz", which airs Sundays and Thursdays at 7:30 pm on HEC-TV, the KFUO program will feature performances and interviews with renowned jazz artists and emerging local musicians, as well as provide information about music-related community events.

The Saint Louis Jazz & Heritage Festival

We are looking for volunteers to help staff our booth at the Saint Louis Jazz & Heritage Festival on Saturday, May 31st. If you are interested, please email Melissa Jones at melissa@jazzstl.org. The festival promises to be a great one with acts like Cassandra Wilson and Joe Sample. You can read all about it below.
